Children love to shell and eat edamame. You couldn't ask for a healthier snack food.

Ingredients

1 pound (480 g) edamame (frozen green soybeans in the shell)

Preparation - Estimated cooking time: Under 30 minutes -    
1 Cook edamame in boiling water for about 8 minutes, or until just tender. Drain.
2 When cool enough to handle, slip soybeans out of their tough pods.
3 Place in a bowl and serve.
